In Leadville, the heart of the Rockies, the summer activities are endless:

Hiking the Fourteeners or stroll to view wildflower covered fields, unless you'd rather do it on Horseback; Biking on challenging single tracks, or on the paved bike path through the Old Mining District; White Water Rafting the gorgeous Arkansas River; Riding on the Scenic Train; Boating and Fishing at the surrounding lakes, unless Fly Fishing in crystal clear creeks is more your style...

Winter Activities:

You are in the middle of "Snow Paradise", surronded by world class ski resorts, from 20 minutes to 50 minutes away, with Copper Mountain, Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, and Keystone, just to name a few. If you'd rather enjoy the peace and quiet, or the challenge of Back Country Skiing, you will be more than impressed by your surroundings, unless you'd rather explore them Snowshoeing, or on a Snowmobile Tour, or even go Ice Fishing.

Summer or winter, the Historical Downtown Leadville will greet you with its Must-See National Mining Museum, Historical Tabor Opera House, antique stores, coffee shops, and much more...
